Tools of the Trade

  1. Google – Calendar, Documents, Reader & Gmail are items that frequent my browser tabs because they are simple, intuitive,  and best of all free.
  2. Macbook – A regular ole’ 13inch ‘Blackbook‘ is my daily driver. It goes with me everywhere and does everything I ask.
  3. iPhone – An obvious one, an iPhone is the clear choice as far as smartphones go (at least for now).
  4. Warrior Dolomite – I’ve played with Eastons and Bauers in my career but nothing really feels like a Warrior. I use a clear SR 85 flex Kovalchuk curve (previously Robitaille) which is a moderate mid curve with a closed face.

Boxing

Boxing needs a new publicist. If other people see the sport anything like my girlfriend does, it’s in trouble. Like skydiving and bungee jumping, boxing had always kind of intimidated me. After hockey season one year I decided to try it and joined a small boxing gym in a rough part of town. After a few months of intense physical and mental preparation my trainer entered me in an amateur tournament which I ened up winning.

Hockey

Growing up in St. Louis I played competitive youth hockey until high school. In college I played for Missouri State University, a well organized ACHA Division II Club. I am now a level 3 Official and Coach a Varsity High School team.

Skydiving

I’m a thrill seeker. Not a full fledged adrenaline junkie, just someone who likes to push his limits. I’m fascinated by things that scare me & enjoy a good challenge. It’s the only way to see how far you can go.

Snowboarding

In the winter if I can get away I like to go snowboarding. I dig Utah a lot because it is clean, cultural and has fantastic powder. My favorite spots are Sundance and Brighton. The first time I ever strapped on a board was in New Zealand at the age of 13. My dad took me to Treble Cone in Wanaka but since I was only a beginner I stuck to the bunny slopes.

A Few Words...

I live life online and at the rink. A love for travel and emerging technologies keeps me searching for new and innovative ways to stay connected on the go. My technical background in Marketing & CIS has prepared me for a position which requires constant attention in a field that's always evolving. I think like an entrepreneur and execute like an executive. I am professional, organized creative, hard-working, and most-of-all engaging. If you're interested in hearing any of my ideas I'd be happy to share them with you.
