The “Mystery Skate”: a ritual performed by the rookies of the Botany Swarm. The Swarm are a hockey team out of Auckland playing in the NZIHL (New Zealand Ice Hockey League). All we did at Missouri State was shave heads and make the freshman pick up pucks… that and “Rookie Idol”.
